Workforce Fairness Institute Reacts To Robb Confirmation
Washington, D.C. – Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI) spokesperson Heather Greenaway released the following statement today in response to yesterday’s confirmation vote in the U.S. Senate of Peter B. Robb as general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB):
“After years of action focused on rewarding union bosses and hurting workers, the Workforce Fairness Institute is pleased that the office of the general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board under the leadership of Peter Robb will finally focus on the law. As a well-respected attorney working in labor and employment law, and experience with the Board having served as a staff attorney and counsel, Robb will bring a level of seriousness and competence, which were absent under his predecessor. After eight years of favoritism and partiality, employees and employers across the country are expressing gratitude that the Board is finally staffed and prepared to fairly represent all those who have workplace places before it.”
The Workforce Fairness Institute is an organization committed to educating voters, employers, employees and citizens about issues affecting the workplace. To learn more, please visit: http://www.workforcefairness.com.
